Lyrics & Latkes

The Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre (DWYT) celebrates the Festival of Lights with its annual beloved holiday sing-along led by DWYT performers. In person in the Segal Centre Studio, Lyrics & Latkes invites audiences of all ages to join together and raise their collective voices in traditional Chanukah songs, folksongs, and Yiddish theatre favourites in Yiddish, Hebrew, English, and French. And, yes, there will be latkes!

Sing-along lyrics presented in their original languages and English translations.

There will be no intermission.

Le Théâtre yiddish Dora Wasserman (DWYT) célèbre le Festival des lumières avec son événement participatif chantant tant aimé du public, mené par les interprètes du DWYT. De retour dans le Studio du Centre Segal, Lyrics & Latkes invite les spectateurs de tous les âges à rassembler leurs voix et à chanter en choeur les chansons traditionnelles favorites de Chanukah, du folk et du théâtre yiddish, en yiddish, hébreu, anglais, et français. Et oui, il y aura des latkes!
